Residential Shift Leader

We are recruiting for a Shift Leader who is focused on high quality client care and teamwork to work in Julie House (short-term boys’ shelter.)  The Shift Leader is responsible for facilitating a therapeutic environment; supervising direct care staff; being an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team; and, assisting in household management and upkeep.  Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and six months’ relevant experience (at least two years of college and one year relevant experience preferred.)  Must be able to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends.

Youth Development Specialists

Youth Development Specialists to work in the Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Facility.  Under supervision of the Shift Leader Youth Development Specialists perform various duties focused on providing residents with a normalized homelike environment that fosters the building of healthy relationships among their family, peers, and staff members. Youth Development Specialists are active members of the treatment team who are focused on implementation of individualized service plans. Mental Health Paraprofessional (MHPP)/ Counselor in Training (CIT): Carroll County

provides clinical interventions and substance abuse counseling that reinforce and model therapeutic techniques and treatments for at-risk youth in outpatient and school-based settings.  Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science field required and one year experience preferred.  Full-time productivity-based pay position.

School-Based Support Tech - Washington County (30 hours/week)

Two Positions available:

School-based Support Techs provide routine clerical and administrative support the Therapists and Paraprofessionals in the assigned school.  Techs support implementation of the individual treatment plans and serve as a member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team.  Duties include:

  • Facilitating telephone communication including scheduling appointments and making reminder calls.
  • Conducting day rehab groups.
  • Facilitating meetings for after school programs including set-up, food/drinks, clean-up, signing students in/out, and transporting students home.
  • Maintaining clinical records.
  • Providing high level client care/assistance.

Requirements are a high school diploma (or equivalent) and six months related experience or training.  One year experience preferred.
